How to sort and filter Data in Pivot Table?

To sort Data, Right click a cell in the filed by which you want to sort. Point the sort option, then click the desired order.

To filter pivot data.

Once a PivotTable has been created, filters can be applied to answer specific questions. To set a filter in Row Labels or Column Labels,

  • Click the arrow next to Row Labels or Column Labels.

  • The dropdown menu shows a list of all the values in whatever field you selected.
  • Clear the check box next to (Select All) in the list to clear all the check boxes next to the items in the list. Then click the check boxes next to the items you want to display in the PivotTable.
